Birth Doula Services

With my birth doula package, I will provide the following services:

1. A free initial consultation to get to know each other and an opportunity for you to ask me any questions and let me know your goals and needs for your birth.
2. Two additional pre-natal appointments (90 minutes each) to help create your birth plan, practice comfort measures, and continue to build a relationship built on trust and respect (recommended at your home, but also available to meet at a cafe or location of your choosing)
3. Electronic copy of your birth plan to be shared with your primary care provider
4. Immediate on-call response to answer all questions between the hours of 7:30am-10pm by phone, text, email, or any desired method of communication.
5. Guaranteed 24/7 on-call availability from 38 weeks of pregnancy until delivery.
6. Continual labor and delivery support once labor begins until your new baby is in your arms, including all comfort measures tailored to your birth needs
7. Immediate postpartum birth support to assist with breast-feeding and welcoming your new little one (up to two hours)
8. A complimentary gift of your birth story, written by me, so that you can always remember and cherish this precious life-changing day
9. Two complimentary postpartum visits to assist you with anything you need once baby is home, typically one in the first week of having baby home and the other within the first month. You get to decide when works best for you (90 minutes each)
10. One month of phone and email support to answer any questions and discuss your birth (7:30am-10pm for immediate response)
11. Breastfeeding, cloth-diapering, and baby-wearing support

Post-Partum Meal Services

1. Initial consultation on family meal preferences, dietary needs, food budget, and portion preferences
2. Available meal options: breakfast, lunch, dinner, hearty/healthy snacks
3. Grocery shopping for the specified meal needs
4. In-home fresh meal preparation during postpartum visits (typically 2-3 hours, but I will stay as long as needed for entire meal preparation and clean-up)
5. Full clean-up after meal
6. Opportunity for mom to relax, rest and let me take care of newborn and other children in the house while I cook and clean-up
7. Meals are all designed to be comforting, family-friendly, and nutritious. All meals are supportive of breast-feeding and postpartum dietary needs.
